Homebrew #5: Part 2: Secondary & Dry Hopping

Our "Oak Barrel Imperial IPA" has been in primary for 11 days total, so we transferred it to the carboy. Dave thought he had some hops at home but it turns out he didn't, so I had to go to the homebrew store to get some two days later.

Homebrew #5: Part 1: Brewing

I found this kit "Oak Barrel Imperial IPA" at my homebrew store and decided to pick it up. My friend and co-worker Dave split the cost with me and helped me brew it. He has a bunch of hops at home that we'll be using for dry hopping. Here's the recipe:

STEEPING GRAINS:
1lb Crystal Malt 40L

BOILING FERMENTABLES:
7lbs Briess CBW Pilsen Light DME
2lbs Brewers Crystals - 56% Maltose Corn Sugar

BITTERING HOPS:
1oz Columbus
1oz Centennial

FLAVOR HOPS:
1oz Falconer's Flight

AROMA HOPS:
2oz Cascade

DRY HOPS:
to be determined

WATER:
Albany tap water

YEAST:
Safale US-05 (2 packets)
